ICA show
I subsequently had the opportunity of displaying the paper scrolls again as part of the exhibition “Vision” at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA, The Mall, London), organised by the ICA and the British Deaf Association (BDA), from 5 to 7 January 2007. This was an exhibition of works from deaf contemporary artists. It was an ideal exhibition space for the scrolls because of the high ceiling, which meant that viewers had to raise their eyes from floor to ceiling to see the scrolls. This time they were displayed vertically, cascading down the wall.
