Lunar New Year Eve

Pancake‏

Today is Pancake day, I made one, Yum!! The recipe I have is: mix together self raising flour, milk and 2 eggs. To get a smooth not too thick or too thim mixture. Heat a frying pan and put some of the mixture in to form a thin disc and let it heat up. toss the pancake to turn the sides over to cook the top side. and then remove.

Patchy is my ears

I sat in the living room reading a book. The sky was blue and Patchy laid on my lap. Suddenly Patchy jumped from me and went to the wall. His nose was touching the plug-in door chime with flashing light, used by deaf people to show that there is some one at the door. I did not notice the flashing light due to the strong sunshine shining into the living room. It was the postman with a parcel for me, for which I had to sign to acknowledge receipt. I am so glad that I have Patchy. He is my ears.
