Visit to My Old University, 21 August

Today I visited my old university- Culture University in Taipei city with my friend. The university is on a mountain in Yangmingshan National Park 陽明山國家公園. We took a bus north from Taipei train station and talked for 40 minutes on the way. It was a lovely day with a blue sky.

My friend asked me if I had been to the national park before. He said he been to the national park while he was a student. I told him that I miss my student life. The park contained outstanding beauty spots. We ate chicken and wild vegetables, and saw a beautiful view at night from the top of the mountain. It was very relaxing.

When we entered the campus, I was surprised because a lot of buildings had changed and they were building new ones. We visited the new sports center. From the building, I could see a river flowing down a mountain. We also visited the new computer center. It looked very cool, like a futuristic space. We also bumped into Lee Fu, chairman of the Fine Arts department. I was very happy to chat with her and wished I was back at university.

We also visited the resource room – I used to work there part-time. We met a teacher, Chen, who helps disabled students. Chen asked us to go out for lunch with him and we had a nice talk.
